Disconnect wire harness and electrical wires from
the engine as follows:
A. Disconnect wire and connector from the alterna-
tor, red cable from starter, three wires from the start-
er, wire from the oil pressure switch, and wires from
high temperature warning and shutdown switches
(Fig. 20).

B. Disconnect electrical connector from the fuel so-
lenoid (Fig. 22).
C. Disconnect red/black wire from the glow plug
bus bar (Fig. 23).
