Powerlite And 20” CCR Rotor Drive
The rotor drive systems used on the 20” CCR’s and
Powerlite are merely modified forms of the system
used on The Snowmaster, S-200 and S-620. Some
use a spring loaded idler system and others connect a
cable to the idler to engage and disengage the belt.
A
The Powerlite models built in 1998 and older use the
spring loaded idler system. The spring loaded idler
maintains tension on the belt for constant drive (Figure
83).

Single Stage Snowthrower Service Manual
5 - 11
(3 votes, average: 4.67 out of 5) Lawn and Garden readers have rated Toro Single Stage Snow Blower Service Manual 4.7 out of 5.0 based on 3 product reviews.
EXCELLENT . Hard to find manual and very detailed . Only downside is the pics and wording in pics are backwards , but I can deal with that
The manual provides detailed step-by-step instructions for engine removal and installation but there is nothing in it about repair of the recoil starter. The engine removal instructions will be helpful because the starter is buried behind the fuel tank and engine support bracket. I think my problem is a sticking starter dog but getting to it will be a major project.
