Brake Pedal Switch (Machines With Serial Number Below 250000000)
The brake pedal switch is located on the brake lever un-
der the floorboard (Fig. 25). The brake pedal switch al-
lows the shifter solenoid to be energized when the brake
pedal is pushed.
Testing
1.
Locate switch and unplug wire harness connector
from switch.
2.
When the switch plunger is pressed (brake pedal de-
pressed), there should be continuity (closed) between
the switch terminals. When the switch plunger is ex-
tended (brake pedal released), there should be no conti-
nuity (open) between the switch terminals.

Reconnect the harness connector to the switch after
testing.
