See Adjusting the Transport Speed in the traction unit
Operator’s Manual for additional information.

This test measures hydrostat pump output (flow). Dur-
ing this test, pump load is created atthe flowmeter using
the adjustable load valve on the tester.

sure the hydraulic tank is full.
Park machine on a level surface with the cutting
and turn off engine.

If specifications are not met consider the following:
A. The traction pedal and/or traction speed may
need adjustment (see the Traction Unit Operator’s
Manual).

If specifications are met, check wheel motor effi-
ciency (see Wheel Motor Efficiency Testinthischapter).
4.
Block up front wheels off the ground (also rear
wheel if machine is equipped with 3WD) to allow flow
through the traction circuit.
15. If testing is complete, disconnect tester from hy-
draulic tube and hose. Reconnect hose to tube.
5.
Disconnect hydraulic hose from the hydraulic tube
that connects to the upper hydraulic fitting on the front
side of the hydrostat (Fig. 19).
