Tachometer (Workman HDX and HDX--D)
Thehourmeter shouldmove1/10ofanhourforeverysix
minutes that the ignition switch is in the ON position.
Thetachometer onWorkmanHDXandHDX--Dvehicles
displays the engine speed. NOTE: The tachometer is
optional on Workman HD vehicles.
Fuel Level Gauge
Glow Light (Workman HDX--D)
The fuel level gauge displays the approximate amount
of fuel remaining in the fuel tank. Additionally, a red LED
will illuminate when the fuel tank is low and the LED will
flash when the tank is near empty.
The glow light LED on Workman HDX--D vehicles illumi-
nates whenever the engine glow plugs are energized.
Check Engine Light (Workman HDX)
Oil Pressure Warning Light
The check engine LED on Workman HDX vehicles will
illuminate if an engine fault is detected by the engine
electronic controller. For additional information, see En-
gine Diagnostics in Chapter 3 -- Briggs/Daihatsu Gaso-
line Engine. NOTE: If check engine LED comes on and
ignition switch is turned OFF, engine diagnostic codes
will be erased.
The oil pressure LED should come on when the ignition
key switch is in the ON position with the engine not run-
ningoriftheengineoilpressure switchcloses duringen-
gine operation due to low oil pressure.
Charge Indicator Light
ThechargeindicatorLEDshouldcomeonwhentheigni-
tion key switch is in the ON position with the engine not
running or ifthe charging circuit is not operating properly
during engine operation.

Speedometer (Workman HDX and HDX--D)
The speedometer on Workman HDX and HDX--D ve-
hicles displays the vehicle ground speed. Speed is
shown ineither miles per hour or kilometers per hour de-
pending on the status of the MPH/KPH shunt.
