Reassembly
1.
Remove oil from the hydraulic cylinder into a drain
1. Make sure all parts are clean before reassembly.

ports and clean the outside of the cylinder.

Coat new O–rings, Uni–rings, poly–pack, back–up
ring, and dust seal with with clean hydraulic oil. Install
Uni–ring and O–ring to the piston. Install poly–pack, O–
ring, and back–up ring to the head.
IMPORTANT: Prevent damage when clamping the
hydraulic cylinder into a vise; clamp on pivot end
only. Do not close vise enough to distort the barrel.
IMPORTANT: Do not clamp vise jaws against the
shaft surface. Protect shaft surface before mount-
ing in a vice.

Mount hydraulic cylinder in a vice. Remove dust
seal and retaining ring.
