Flush Hydraulic System
IMPORTANT: Flush the hydraulic system any time
there is a severe component failure or the system is
contaminated (oil appears milky, black or contains
metal particles).

CAUTION
Operate all hydraulic controls to relieve system
pressure and avoid injury from pressurized hy-
draulic oil. Controls must be operated with the
ignition switch in RUN and the engine OFF. Make
sure all electrically operated control valves are
actuated. Return ignition switch to OFF after
pressure has been relieved. Remove key from
the ignition switch.

all hydraulic connections that will be disconnected
for draining.

Drain hydraulic reservoir.
Drain complete hydraulic system. Drain all hoses,
tubes and components while the system is warm.

Remove and replace both hydraulic oil filters.

Reconnect all hydraulic hoses, tubes and compo-
nents that were disconnected while draining system.

IMPORTANT: Before unplugging the wire harness
power connector from the engine ECM, make sure
that the ignition switch is in the OFF position and
the key is removed from the switch. If the power
connector is removed from the engine ECM while
electrical power is on, the ECM may be damaged.

charge pressure test port indicates that pressure in the
charge circuit is increasing.
