Removal (Fig. 1)
Position machine on a clean, level surface. Lower
cutting decks, stop engine, apply parking brake and re-
move key from the ignition switch.
8. Position damper to mount on cutting deck. Install
spacer and spring pin to secure damper to deck (Figs.
1.

and 3).
9. Start engine and lower deck to ground. Stop engine
and remove key from the ignition switch.

Remove center deck cover to access hydraulic deck
motor.
10.Install hydraulic motor to cutting deck (see Cutting
Deck Motor Installation in the Service and Repairs Sec-
tion of Chapter 4 -- Hydraulic Systems).

Remove hydraulic motor from cutting deck (see Cut-
ting Deck Motor Removal in the Service and Repairs
SectionofChapter4 -- HydraulicSystems).Positionand
support motor away from cutting deck.
11.Install all removed cutting deck covers.
12.Lubricate
grease fittings on cutting deck and lift arm

Start engine and raise deck slightly. Stop engine and
assemblies (see Operator’s Manual).

hole in the support hub.

Slide the cutting deck away from the traction unit.
