General Information
CAUTION
Never install or work on the cutting deck or lift
arms with the engine running. Always stop en-
gine and remove ignition key first.
Operator’s Manual
The Operator’s Manual provides information regarding
the operation, general maintenance and maintenance
intervals for your Groundsmaster. Refer to the Opera-
tor’s Manual for additional information when servicing
the machine.
Castor Wheel Tire Pressure
Castor tires on the cutting deck should be inflated to 50
PSI (345 kPa).
Blade Stopping Time
The blades of the cutting deck should come to a com-
plete stop in approximately five (5) seconds after the
PTO switch is shut off.
(6.1 meters) and watch one of the cutting deck blades.
Have the operator shut the cutting deck off and record
the time it takes for the blades to come to a complete
stop. If this stopping time is greater than seven (7) sec-
onds, the braking valve (RV2) on the deck drive hydrau-
lic control manifold may need adjustment.
NOTE: Make sure the decks are lowered onto a clean
section of turf or hard surface to avoid dust and debris.
To verify blade stopping stopping time, have a second
personstandbackfromthedeckatleasttwenty(20)feet
