Check Operation of Interlock Switches
The interlock system used on your Groundsmaster in-
cludes the seat switch, the traction pedal potentiometer,
the parking brake switch, the cutting deck position
switches, themow/transport switch andthePTOswitch.
Testing of individual interlock switches is included in the
Component Testing section of this Chapter.
CAUTION
Do not disconnect safety switches. They are for
theoperator’sprotection. Checktheoperationof
the interlock switches daily for proper operation.
Replace any malfunctioning switches before op-
erating the machine.
NOTE: Use the Info Center Display to test Toro Elec-
tronic Controller inputs and outputs before further trou-
bleshooting of an
Groundsmaster.

Interlock switch operation is described in the Operator’s
Manual. Your Groundsmaster is equipped with two (2)
Toro Electronic Controllers (TEC) which monitor inter-
lock switch operation. Information on the TEC is de-
scribed in the Operator’s Manual and in the Component
Testing section of this Chapter.
