Mega Fuses
Two (2) mega fuses are used on the Groundsmaster for
protection of high amperage circuits. One of the mega
fuses is a 125 amp fuse and protects the alternator cir-
cuit. The other mega fuse is a 300 amp fuse that is a
component in the intake air heater circuit. The mega
fuseblocksareattachedtoahoodsupportframebehind
the batteries (Fig. 61).

Testing

Make sure ignition switch is OFF. Remove key from
ignition switch.

Disconnect battery cables from battery terminals

Raise hood to gain access to fuse holders.

Press latch that retains fuse holder cover and raise
cover.

Fuse should have continuity across the terminals.
After testing, slide fuse onto fuse holder studs. Place
removed cables and jumper straps onto studs.
