Removal (Fig. 66)

Park machine on a level surface, lower cutting units,

stop engine, engage parking brake, and remove key
from the ignition switch.
CAUTION
The radiator and oil cooler may be hot. To avoid
possible burns, allow the engine and cooling
systems to cool before working on the oil cooler.

Unlatch and remove rear screen.

Unscrew knobs and pivot oil cooler rearward.

Mark and disconnect the hydraulic hoses at the oil
cooler.

Use eye protection such as goggles when using
compressed air.
Installation (Fig. 66)

1. Carefully hold the oilcooler in position and attachthe
cooler to the cooler bracket.

Connect the hydraulic hoses.

Dry inside of oil cooler using compressed air in the
Pivot oil cooler back into position and tighten knobs.
Install rear screen and secure latches.

Make sure fins are clear of dirt and debris.
Plug both ends of oil cooler. Clean exterior of cooler.

The oil cooler should be free of corrosion, cracked
tubes, and excessive pitting of tubes.
