Adjust Throttle Cable
1.
stop engine, engage parking brake, and remove key
from the ignition switch.
Park machine on a level surface, lower cutting units,

Release hood latch and open hood.

Position throttle lever forward so it stops against the
seat base slot.

Note:
Do not over tighten the cable connector. The
connector must be free to swivel.
6.
Torque lock nut used to set the friction device on the
throttle lever from 40 to 55 in-lb (4.5 to 6.2 N-m). The
maximum force required to operate the throttle lever
should be 20 lb (9 kg).
7.
Close hood and secure latch.
