Removal (Fig. 8)
Park machine on a level surface, lower cutting units,
stop engine, engage parking brake and remove key
from the ignition switch.
Installation (Fig. 8)

1. Thoroughly clean the rear axle pivot pin. Inspect the
pin for wear or damage and replace if necessary.

Position the rear axle assembly to the frame. Install

frame. Raise axle assembly to frame and slide pivot pin

roll pin on pivot pin is positioned in frame reliefs.

Install thrust washer (item 9) and jam nut (item 10)
NOTE: To ease assembly, label hydraulic hoses to
show their correct position on the steering cylinder.

ot freely after jam nut is tightened.

Disconnect the hydraulic hoses from the steering
cylinder. Put caps or plugs on all fittings and hoses to
prevent contamination.

Lower the machine to the ground.

grease fitting on the axle pivot pin.

draulic connections for leaks.
