Installation (Fig. 51)

Tilt hydraulic reservoir cover up to access reservoir.
1. If fittings were removed from reservoir, lubricate and
place new o--rings onto fittings. Install fittings into reser-
voir openings using marks made during the removal
process to properly orientate fittings. Tighten fittings
(see Hydraulic Fitting Installation in the General Infor-
mation section of this chapter).

Label hydraulic hoses to assist in installation. Dis-
strainer. Thread suction strainer into hydraulic reservoir
until finger tight. Then, using a wrench, turn strainer into
reservoir port 1--1/2 to 2 full turns beyond finger tight.
connect all hydraulic hoses and tubes from fittings on
thereservoir.Allowhydrauliclinestodrainintoasuitable
container. Plug or cap openings of reservoir and lines to
prevent contamination.

Position hydraulic reservoir to machine. Secure re-
servoir to frame with two (2) clamps (item 13), washer
head screws (item 26) and flange nuts (item 27).
