Component Testing

machines is provided in this Chapter.
Seat Switch
The seat switch is normally open and closes when the
operator is on the seat. The switch is located directly un-
der the seat (Fig. 3).

Make sure the engine and ignition switch are Off. Re-
move key from ignition switch.

Tilt operator seat up. Disconnect machine wire har-
ness connector from seat switch.

multimeter (ohms setting) across the switch connector
terminals.
Check the continuity of the switch by connecting a

no continuity between the switch terminals.
With no pressure on the seat cushion, there should be

cushion. There should be continuity as the seat cushion
approaches the bottom of its travel.
Press directly onto the seat switch through the seat

If switch removal is necessary, remove seat with sliders
from seat plate. Remove switch from bottom of seat.
High Temperature Override Switch
The high temperature override switch is located on the
control console.
The switch terminals are marked as shown in Figure 4.
The circuitry of the switch is shown in the chart below.
With the use of a multimeter (ohms setting), the switch
functions may be tested to determine whether continuity
exists between the various terminals for each position.
Verify continuity between switch terminals.

t has been a very reliable machine but getting parts is hard and not cheap to buy , generic parts has been cost effective and reliable , i am unable to get a wiring circut diagram for this unit as most problems are electrical problems
