Run Solenoid (Groundsmaster 328–D) (Solenoid With 2 Wire Connector)
The run (ETR) solenoid must be energized for the en-
gine to run. The solenoid is mounted on the engine block
near the injection pump.
4. Touch a negative (–) test lead from the 12 VDC
source to the fuel stop solenoid frame (ground) (Fig. 13).
The solenoid should engage, making an audible “click,”
and the plunger should retract.

nal. The solenoid should stay engaged.
Remove positive (+) voltage from the pull coil termi-
Note:
Prior to taking small resistance readings with a
digital multimeter, short the test leads together. The me-
ter will display a small resistance value (usually 0.5
ohms or less). This resistance is due to the internal re-
sistance of the meter and test leads. Subtract this value
from from the measured value of the component you are
testing.

nal. The solenoid should release.

Using a digital multimeter, touch one test lead to the

pull coil terminal and the other test lead to the fuel stop
solenoid frame (ground) (Fig. 13). The resistance of the
pull coil should be less than 1 ohm (but not zero).

Using a digital multimeter, touch one test lead to the

hold coil terminal and the other test lead to the fuel stop
solenoid frame (ground) (Fig. 13). The resistance of the
hold coil should be approximately 15 ohms.

Need 328D. Manual pdf. Will rate after finding manual
t has been a very reliable machine but getting parts is hard and not cheap to buy , generic parts has been cost effective and reliable , i am unable to get a wiring circut diagram for this unit as most problems are electrical problems
